Telling the family

Ok so this post is really late but it is still a fun one that I need to share. So my family likes to go out to the cemetery whenever there is some kind of holiday or special occasion and let balloons go. This is something we started after my mom's dad passed away. I decided this was a perfect way to announce to my mom's side of the family that we were having a little girl. So on new year's eve my mom and I went and got a bunch of pink balloons and told everybody to meet us at the cemetery we told them it was for Christmas and New years. What is funny is that my aunt Patty tried her hardest all day to try to trick my mom into telling her what we were having but actually my mom did a great job at keeping it a secret. Here are some pictures of the event.

Here is a picture of the proud Mommy and Daddy!!

One Big Happy Family-Excited to add another little girl!

This is just always so pretty to watch.

New Pictures of Baby Sayleigh

So we had another sonogram on Friday. My dad and Sayleigh's dad both got to go. They got everything that they needed pictures of and then we got to watch her for a little bit. She was yawning and sucking on her fingers it was so neat. The lady doing the sonogram said she was in a Frank's Breech position which means that she is pretty much folded in half with her feet up by her head, but there is no need to worry because she still as a whole lot of time to get where she needs to be. She took a couple of 3D pictures for us, so that is pretty neat. Here are the wonderful pictures that we got of Sayleigh.

This is a great profile shot. Her Daddy says that she has her mama's nose. You can see her feet in front of her mouth.

In this one she is yawning. She's got her mouth wide open.

This is one of the 3D pictures that we got. This one is of her face and she has her hand up by her mouth and you will she why she has her hand up there in the next picture.

In this picture she has her mouth wide open and her thump in her mouth.

Belly Shots

So I have totally been putting off taking belly pictures because I have just felt fat not pregnant. So recently I have been feeling more and more pregnant so I decided it was time to start taking pictures once a month. Here is the first round at 20 weeks.

Christmas Presents

Well I put together everything that our little Sayleigh got for Christmas and a few belated Christmas gifts (since we didn't know it was a girl until new years eve). She is already spoiled and she is not even here yet. Here are some picture of all the fun stuff she has gotten so far.

New Years Suprise

Well Les and I had just a wonderful new years because we were able to call our little precious baby Sayleigh Amanda Maberry. Yes for all of you that do not know yet we found out on new year's eve that we were having a little girl.

I know you can't really see the picture that good but this is her little private parts. And she was not ashamed to show them we saw them a lot. When we were sitting in the sonogram room the lady looked at Les and said "Well do you want a little girl?" Les got a huge smile on his face and said YES!! I was also very excited. Everybody probably thought that big ole rough Lester would want a little boy but for this first one he wanted a daddy's little girl so he is very excited.

This sweet little picture is her profile shot. You can see her little arms curled up by her head and she also has her legs curled up. When we went to the doctor yesterday she said that everything was good except that they didn't get a good picture of her diaphragm she was being stubborn like her daddy. We are scheduled for another sonogram on Feb. 6th and since Les is working that day so my mom will get to go with me and she is super excited.

Merry Christmas to Us

Well it is official I have started to feel the baby kick or it is actually more like I have started to feel the baby tickle my tummy. What is funny is since I have sat down to do stuff on the computer the baby said good morning mommy. The baby also says hello to everyone that is reading the blog. Anyways one week from tomorrow we will get to call the baby by name hopefully, so next time I post you will know if you can call it Levi or Saleigh. We are so excited and it will be here before we know it especially since the holidays are coming and that time always goes by so fast.
We hope that everyone has a wonderful Christmas. Cherish every moment shared with family and friends. Well I need to go so that I can get that final Christmas shopping done.
MERRY CHRISTMAS! Love, Lester, Kelli, and Baby Maberry

Question

I want everyone that has already had a child to describe to me what it felt like when you first felt the baby move. I think this will be interesting to see everyone descriptions and to see how different or alike it was for everybody. If you will just leave a comment and let me know how it was for you.
